MultCo Board of Commissioners 14th November 5:10 On 15th October 2023, “in a joint action with Canada, the U.S. Department of the Treasury’s Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC) designated the the Samidoun Palestinian Prisoner Solidarity Network, “Samidoun,” a sham charity that serves as an international fundraiser for the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine (PFLP) terrorist organization.” Samidoun's athiestic Marxist-Leninist ideology appeals to campus radicals and to its affiliates in the Portland left-wing protest scene (Such as the DSA, JVP, PSL, RoseCityAntifa, and the PPS teachers union and Graduate teaching fellows of PSU and UofO) who spread Samidoun propaganda and coordinate rallies, teach-ins, and riots, including this spring's campus intifada. The intifada caused $1.2 Million in damages to the PSU Library, in an effort to extort the university into Academically boycotting Israeli universities and removing Sabra brand hummus and pretzel snak paks from campus stores. Activists had at times shut down I-405 freeway, the Morrison, Burnside, and Hawthorne bridges at rush hour, in pursuit of Palestinian liberation and boycott of Israel. On 1st July 2020 they organized a 'Palestinian Day of Rage' in major cities accross six continents. Samidoun Agitators led a crowd of 200+ in the Portland plaza to put their fists in the air and chant "from the river to the sea, Palestine will be free", and followed that with "Death to Israel", and "Death to America". A complicit media and an incompetent police commissioner and city council ignored this, and the July 2020 seige of Portland's federal courthouse began immediately afterward, causing $1.6 Million in damages to the courthouse, and to other federal buildings for $2.3 Million total, not including damages to City, State and private property. DHS timeline. Other than the RCIF, noone in the media, academic, or political echelons of Portland were willing to denounce the domestic terrorism. Since then, Portland has suffered a murder epidemic and a wave of organized retail theft. Businesses are closing and people are leaving. Samidoun undermined police reform, discredited the movement for Black lives, and ensured the failure of “Defund the police”. Prejudiced ignorance and anti-Jewish bias end up hurting everyone, and political leaders have a duty to denounce it. The Treasury department says: “The PFLP, which was designated as a Foreign Terrorist Organization and a Specially Designated Global Terrorist by the U.S. Department of State in October 1997 and October 2001, respectively, uses Samidoun to maintain fundraising operations in both Europe and North America.” “In a coordinated effort, the Government of Canada has listed Samidoun as a terrorist entity under its Criminal Code, effective Friday, Oct. 11”. “The PFLP is a terrorist group operating in Gaza and the West Bank. It has been a designated FTO since 1997 and is the second largest Palestine Liberation Organization (PLO) faction despite boycotting PLO meetings since 2018. PFLP remained committed to terrorist activity through its armed apparatus, the Martyr Abu Ali Mustafa Brigades, and the group has been active in the Israel-Hamas conflict, to include participating in the horrific attacks against Israeli civilians on October 7, 2023.” “Samidoun is a front organization based in Vancouver, Canada and established by the PFLP, is involved in fundraising for the PFLP. Samidoun serves as a front for the group in countries where the PFLP is declared a terrorist organization.” “Samidoun was also banned by Germany in a separate November 2023 action,” and banned by Israel in February 2021, and Mastercard, Visa, AmEx all pull option to fund terror group-linked NGO in January 2020, follows similar action taken earlier that year by Donorbox, Paypal and Plaid, helping to cut funding to the group. A report released by Israel's Ministry of Strategic Affairs and Public Diplomacy in February 2019 – titled "Terrorists in Suits" – listed Samidoun among 13 NGOs worldwide who are acting as fronts for terrorist organizations. Samidoun is also a leading promoter of BDS. Since its founding in the 2010s, Samidoun has mentored college activists across the U.S., held teach-ins, conducted letter writing campaigns on behalf of Palestinian prisoners and helped organize anti-Israel protests in New York, Chicago and elsewhere. Samidoun co-founder Charlotte Kates tells an NBC interviewer that Hamas's massacres of Israeli civilians were a "heroic action" because Israel is a “settler-colonist” state that “never had a right to exist”, and at rallies, she incites the massacre and genocide of Jews in the holy land, by leading chants of “long live Oct. 7th”. During ex parte off-docket hearing, we appeared pro publica as Amicus Curiae Request the Court adopt the policy recommended in 2022 by senior deputy D.A. Kelley Rhoades (but not adopted by the D.A.), and agree to instruct all trial court judges to not accept a negotiated plea agreement in a case involving homicide unless the prosecutor presents a medical examiner's report or death certificate, or other affidavited testimony that verifies that a death has in fact occured. This will verify that malicious or incompetent prosecutors, and a D.A.'s office that is not transparent or accountable, and an OJD that defends these bozos rather than making the necessary reforms, will not be able to get away with this kind of reckless incompetence. MultCo Circuit Court, 13th Sept 10:30, Courtroom 7A, presiding Judge Matarrazzo. During ex parte off-docket hearing, we appeared pro publica as Amicus Curiae Motion to unseal the records in the matters of “State vs. Adam Gregg” (2016) and “State vs. Jeremiah Cook”, which are the cause for civil action against the MultCo District Attorney alleging malicious prosecution, as featured in today's 13th September Oregonian: "After finishing 5 years in prison for killing a man with Fentanyl, the victim was found very much alive." Although on the front page of Portland's newspaper of record, neither the computer kiosks, the court clerks, the records department, or the law clerks for the presiding Judge, have any knowledge of this case every occurring. Judge Matarrazzo cannot unseal the record without the case number, which no one knows. As if it never happened. How did this obfuscation occur? Is it obstruction of justice or merely a neglect of official duty to act? ORS 192.3-4 governs Public Records law and is modeled on the U.S. FOIA. We request the help of the Oregon Secretary of State's Public Records Advocate (request tracking # R000092-091324) or a federal writ of mandamus. The 6th amendment guarantees right to a “public trial”, which means the public has a right to know what the hell is going on. And “Justice is not a cloistered virtue”.
MultCo Circuit Court 28th August 1:30; and 4th September 9am, hearing on motion to compel discovery before honorable Judge Howes D.A. produced most of requested documents at the second hearing on 4th Sept., therefore asking court to take no action on the motion at this time, and set-over trial readiness for a few more weeks until they comply with the remaining demands. Will re-open the petition if they fail.
MultCo Circuit Court, 9th August, trial readiness hearing 24-CR-22957 Motion to compel discovery, supplemental REQUEST FOR DISCOVERY OF PPB, PSU, AND OTHER OFFICIAL RESPONSE RECORDS, filed with the clerk and served to the D.A. in session. Hearing on the motion set for 8/22 9am by Judge Lucero. Defense moves the court for a BRADY Colloquy and in camera review of prosecutors file if she fails to produce requested material for discovery. Defense declines to consider the pre-trial offer, and invites the D.A.'s personnel to reconsider their theory of law, and take under advisement the alternate legal theory presented by the defense in the demurrer motion filed 6/4/2024, again in response to the ACLU amicus letter, and again now in the supplemental request for discovery filed concurrently with the MPC.
Open letter to DA and criminal defense attorneys in the PSU Palestinian intifada cases The RCIF hereby invites the D.A. to reframe its prosecution strategy and bring more appropriate charges to the 40+ defendants similarly situated in related PSU occupation and intifada cases, and offer them renunciation and community service for a guilty or no contest plea in lieu of sentencing. This will provide restorative justice, protect the public, and save public resources that would be wasted on punishment without actual corrections. Renunciation is an affirmative defense to inchoate crimes of conspiracy and attempt, and it is a more “correct” outcome than jail time or community service which the D.A. is seeking in the PTOs that have been tendered.

MultCo Circuit Court, 26th July, trial readiness hearing 24-CR-22957 Re State vs. Jared Essig, criminal trespass II, regarding his demonstration in support of the University's decision 2nd May to evict the Palestinian occupiers from the PSU Library. (See entries below). Seeking trial date in August or September, before judgement day on the New Year, Rosh HaShana. An objection to the charging information and motion to demur has been filed. Letter sent to D.D.A, and argument presented to the CPC Judge at trial-readiness hearing: We have received discovery of police-body-cam evidence (which tends to exculpate the defendent), and request that the D.D.A. watch it closely, and carefully consider withdrawing the charges in the interest of justice and public safety. The D.D.A. discloses that two witness will be called by the State, but we only received discovery of narrative police report of the arresting officer. We demand the name of the second witness, and any recorded statements that the D.A. wishes to introduce at trial. This shouldn't be that hard, but I will have to file a motion to compel, if the D.D.A. remains non-compliant. Until it is forthcoming, we join with the other defendendants in requesting set-over of trial readiness until August 9th to give the DA time to come into compliance.

Written by John Dickinson and adopted 8 July 1775; it reached London on August 14, 1775; and George III's reply, the s:Declaration of Rebellion, was issued on the 23rd.

The “multi-cultural center” in ERB has nothing on it, but does have lots of anti-zionist signage and agitprop, including some demanding “zionists off campus”, and some advertising for the so-called JVP. The “university of Gaza” occupation on the quad outside has nothing advertised about this webinar. (And also has no books in Arabic, and nothing about christianity or Islam, let alone Judaism) These student groups are all seeking a one-state Palestinian solution, and rallying for war to that end. MultCo Board 4/18/2024 15:52 We Recognize the first month of Spring, Nisan, as an Asian heritage month, and the chief month of the year in the Hebrew calendar, mentioned in Exodus 12, and the Babylonian calendar, and in many Indian calendars where it is called Vaisakha. The moon of Nisan endures between 9th April to 8th May, 2024, and will reoccur next year 30th March to 25th April 2025, according to the Metonic Cycle. This year's later occurence is due to a 13th intercalary month added prior, to make the previous a leap year, a postponement called Nasi' in the Quran in reference to the pre-Islamic Arab calendar, presumably after the Jewish Exilarch, or “Nasi” (lit. Prince, president) who would announce the upcoming year's holiday cycle. We Recognize the night of full moon, the Quartodeciman 14th of Nisan, April 22-23rd, Passover night, to begin the Jewish feast of unleavened bread. Recognizing it also as an ecumenical Asian and Quartodeciman Christian heritage week, and Lunar spring break. Acknowledging the two great lights, the Sun which rules by day and Moon by night, are natural “signs, appointed times, days, and years”, as known through common sense to animals and plants, through natural philosophy to humankind, as also described in Genesis 1:14-19, and as relevant to other indigenous cultures around the globe, who also do not require the astronomical tables and mathematical calculations of the imperial Roman Gregorian calendar, derived by the court of Julius Caesar from the Egyptian solar calendar, in order to understand time and predict the seasons. Recognizing this as an equity issue, in that the Roman Gregorian calendar has been imposed on Asia and indigenous America, through imperialism and colonization. And it was imposed on the Near East through decision by the 313 CE Synod of Arles and 323 CE Council of Nicaea to excommunicate Quartodeciman christians who observed the feast of Matzah and thus would break the Lenten fast before Easter. Eating the unleavened bread was either in solidarity with Jews, as Paul taught them to be “wild olive shoots grafted in to the olive tree of Israel” (Romans 9-12) or else as a memorial of the last supper in which Joshua son of Mary said to his disciples “do this in remembrance of me”, or both. But the church instead chose the unbiblical supercessionism and replacement theology, based on hermeneutic perversions that deny the texts' plain meaning and are contrary to the apostolic teaching, and established an alternate gnostic ritual, the sunday “Eucharist”, and made it compulsory. This anti-Judaism and anti-Zionism of the imperial church, which (mis)appropriates Jewish texts, promises, and prophecies in order to abrogate the covenant and law, and flatter itself the “spiritual Israel” and the christian quarter as the “new Jerusalem”, became dogma and command: Jews were and still are expected to convert, assimilate and eat the Easter ham. The alternatives offered are that they serve as a “witness people” to the “wrath and severity of God upon unbelievers” by remaining miserable and powerless in Palestine and throughout the christian world, or else disappear from the stage of history. Failure to comply with this absurd expectation, resulted in frequent expulsions and violence against Jews and other heretics living in christian lands, for which the victims were blamed. Supercessionism was the antecedent of Islamic anti-Judaism, and of later antisemitism as justified on spurious scientific, political, or racial grounds after the supercessionism was translated into the dialectics of “critical reason” during the Enlightenment. We renounce our past complicity, and resolve to not participate any longer in this systemically violent fraudence. Nisan is known as Vaisakha in India, and is the first month of the Vikram Samvat calendar, Odia calendar, Maithili Calendar, Punjabi calendar, Assamese calendar (where it is called Bohag) and the Bengali calendar.
