MultCo Board of Commissioners 14th November 5:10 | On 15th October 2023, “in a joint action with Canada, the U.S. Department of the Treasury’s Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC) designated the the Samidoun Palestinian Prisoner Solidarity Network, “Samidoun,” a sham charity that serves as an international fundraiser for the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine (PFLP) terrorist organization.” Samidoun's athiestic Marxist-Leninist ideology appeals to campus radicals and to its affiliates in the Portland left-wing protest scene (Such as the DSA, JVP, PSL, RoseCityAntifa, and the PPS teachers union and Graduate teaching fellows of PSU and UofO) who spread Samidoun propaganda and coordinate rallies, teach-ins, and riots, including this spring's campus intifada. The intifada caused $1.2 Million in damages to the PSU Library, in an effort to extort the university into Academically boycotting Israeli universities and removing Sabra brand hummus and pretzel snak paks from campus stores. Activists had at times shut down I-405 freeway, the Morrison, Burnside, and Hawthorne bridges at rush hour, in pursuit of Palestinian liberation and boycott of Israel. On 1st July 2020 they organized a 'Palestinian Day of Rage' in major cities accross six continents. Samidoun Agitators led a crowd of 200+ in the Portland plaza to put their fists in the air and chant "from the river to the sea, Palestine will be free", and followed that with "Death to Israel", and "Death to America". A complicit media and an incompetent police commissioner and city council ignored this, and the July 2020 seige of Portland's federal courthouse began immediately afterward, causing $1.6 Million in damages to the courthouse, and to other federal buildings for $2.3 Million total, not including damages to City, State and private property. DHS timeline. Other than the RCIF, noone in the media, academic, or political echelons of Portland were willing to denounce the domestic terrorism. Since then, Portland has suffered a murder epidemic and a wave of organized retail theft. Businesses are closing and people are leaving. Samidoun undermined police reform, discredited the movement for Black lives, and ensured the failure of “Defund the police”. Prejudiced ignorance and anti-Jewish bias end up hurting everyone, and political leaders have a duty to denounce it. The Treasury department says: “The PFLP, which was designated as a Foreign Terrorist Organization and a Specially Designated Global Terrorist by the U.S. Department of State in October 1997 and October 2001, respectively, uses Samidoun to maintain fundraising operations in both Europe and North America.” “In a coordinated effort, the Government of Canada has listed Samidoun as a terrorist entity under its Criminal Code, effective Friday, Oct. 11”. “The PFLP is a terrorist group operating in Gaza and the West Bank. It has been a designated FTO since 1997 and is the second largest Palestine Liberation Organization (PLO) faction despite boycotting PLO meetings since 2018. PFLP remained committed to terrorist activity through its armed apparatus, the Martyr Abu Ali Mustafa Brigades, and the group has been active in the Israel-Hamas conflict, to include participating in the horrific attacks against Israeli civilians on October 7, 2023.” “Samidoun is a front organization based in Vancouver, Canada and established by the PFLP, is involved in fundraising for the PFLP. Samidoun serves as a front for the group in countries where the PFLP is declared a terrorist organization.” “Samidoun was also banned by Germany in a separate November 2023 action,” and banned by Israel in February 2021, and Mastercard, Visa, AmEx all pull option to fund terror group-linked NGO in January 2020, follows similar action taken earlier that year by Donorbox, Paypal and Plaid, helping to cut funding to the group. A report released by Israel's Ministry of Strategic Affairs and Public Diplomacy in February 2019 – titled "Terrorists in Suits" – listed Samidoun among 13 NGOs worldwide who are acting as fronts for terrorist organizations. Samidoun is also a leading promoter of BDS. Since its founding in the 2010s, Samidoun has mentored college activists across the U.S., held teach-ins, conducted letter writing campaigns on behalf of Palestinian prisoners and helped organize anti-Israel protests in New York, Chicago and elsewhere. Samidoun co-founder Charlotte Kates tells an NBC interviewer that Hamas's massacres of Israeli civilians were a "heroic action" because Israel is a “settler-colonist” state that “never had a right to exist”, and at rallies, she incites the massacre and genocide of Jews in the holy land, by leading chants of “long live Oct. 7th”. To activist networks and religious communities: Tankie cults tend toward bolshevik groupthink and newspeak, and they create welcoming spaces for athiests, Jew-haters, and prejudiced ignoramuses. They tend to be actually oppressive, and you should not express “solidarity” with them if you value human liberation.
MultCo Board of Commissioners 7th November 13:14 | From the State of Schach, in the land of the free to MultCo County: “cultural change” needed, and thats what Portland City Council is seeking. My prediction, last appearance, of financial and material “drought”: that the blessings would be withheld from you and transferred to City Portland and other cities and civic institutions that are seeking a “cultural change”. Announcing that U.S. Treasury department Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC), designated the Samidoun Palestinian Prisoner Solidarity Network, or “Samidoun,” as a Foreign Terrorist Organization, a sham charity that serves as an international fundraiser for the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine (PFLP) terrorist organization. The PFLP, which was designated as a Foreign Terrorist Organization and a Specially Designated Global Terrorist by the U.S. Department of State in October 1997 and October 2001, respectively, uses Samidoun to maintain fundraising operations in both Europe and North America.“
MultCo Circuit Court, Judge Skye 10d, 6th November 9am, State vs. Jared Essig 22CR22597 criminal trespass II | Hearing on the defense's motion requesting the Court take judicial notice of crime victim's rights and of PSU as the actual victim.

MultCo Board of Commissioners 24th October 14:18 | This is the last day of the harvest festival of ingathering. This holiday is currently recognized only by the State of Israel, among all the other nation-states of the world, because Jews celebrate the harvest festival with booths, or sukkot, as a memorial of having been homeless for forty years while in the Wilderness of Sinai after leaving Egypt. County Libraries have ignored this in their feature displays, as they ignored the high holy days, passover, and are instead promoting “halloween” and “all saint's” “day of the dead”, where we are encouraged to either pray to dead saints and ancestors, or else clothe ourselves in evil in order to scoff at death. This is perverted and our cultural gatekeepers ought to be ashamed of themselves for it, and also for the prejudiced ignorance and systemic anti-Jewish bias that has been conspicuously on display for so long. [On this eighth day gathering, shemini atzeret, Jews begin to pray for rain, and figuratively also for material prosperity and alleviation of poverty. Because of the moral and intellectual impoverishment which the librarians, teachers unions, students unions, and so many other cultural gatekeepers have consistently imposed on the public, due to prejudiced ignorance and anti-Jewish bias, I will pray for a year of financial and material impoverishment on the county as well, and pray that the Lord of heaven and earth, who gives the rains of blessing, with withold his blessings from the county and transfer them all to the City of Portland instead, which is striving for a “cultural change”, and other local cities and civic bodies that share the same goal. This should motivate repentance.]
MultCo Circuit Court, 13th Sept 10:30, Courtroom 7A, presiding Judge Matarrazzo. During ex parte off-docket hearing, we appeared pro publica as Amicus Curiae | Request the Court adopt the policy recommended in 2022 by senior deputy D.A. Kelley Rhoades (but not adopted by the D.A.), and agree to instruct all trial court judges to not accept a negotiated plea agreement in a case involving homicide unless the prosecutor presents a medical examiner's report or death certificate, or other affidavited testimony that verifies that a death has in fact occured. This will verify that malicious or incompetent prosecutors, and a D.A.'s office that is not transparent or accountable, and an OJD that defends these bozos rather than making the necessary reforms, will not be able to get away with this kind of reckless incompetence. Judge Matarrazzo agrees to establish the policy!
MultCo Circuit Court, 13th Sept 10:30, Courtroom 7A, presiding Judge Matarrazzo. During ex parte off-docket hearing, we appeared pro publica as Amicus Curiae | Motion to unseal the records in the matters of “State vs. Adam Gregg” (2016) and “State vs. Jeremiah Cook”, which are the cause for civil action against the MultCo District Attorney alleging malicious prosecution, as featured in today's 13th September Oregonian: "After finishing 5 years in prison for killing a man with Fentanyl, the victim was found very much alive." Although on the front page of Portland's newspaper of record, neither the computer kiosks, the court clerks, the records department, or the law clerks for the presiding Judge, have any knowledge of this case every occurring. Judge Matarrazzo cannot unseal the record without the case number, which no one knows. As if it never happened. How did this obfuscation occur? Is it obstruction of justice or merely a neglect of official duty to act? ORS 192.3-4 governs Public Records law and is modeled on the U.S. FOIA. We request the help of the Oregon Secretary of State's Public Records Advocate (request tracking # R000092-091324) or a federal writ of mandamus. The 6th amendment guarantees right to a “public trial”, which means the public has a right to know what the hell is going on. And “Justice is not a cloistered virtue”.
MultCo Circuit Court 28th August 1:30; and 4th September 9am, hearing on motion to compel discovery before honorable Judge Howes | D.A. produced most of requested documents at the second hearing on 4th Sept., therefore asking court to take no action on the motion at this time, and set-over trial readiness for a few more weeks until they comply with the remaining demands. Will re-open the petition if they fail.
MultCo Circuit Court, 9th August, trial readiness hearing 24-CR-22957 | Motion to compel discovery, supplemental REQUEST FOR DISCOVERY OF PPB, PSU, AND OTHER OFFICIAL RESPONSE RECORDS, filed with the clerk and served to the D.A. in session. Hearing on the motion set for 8/22 9am by Judge Lucero. Defense moves the court for a BRADY Colloquy and in camera review of prosecutors file if she fails to produce requested material for discovery. Defense declines to consider the pre-trial offer, and invites the D.A.'s personnel to reconsider their theory of law, and take under advisement the alternate legal theory presented by the defense in the demurrer motion filed 6/4/2024, again in response to the ACLU amicus letter, and again now in the supplemental request for discovery filed concurrently with the MPC.
Open letter to DA and criminal defense attorneys in the PSU Palestinian intifada cases | The RCIF hereby invites the D.A. to reframe its prosecution strategy and bring more appropriate charges to the 40+ defendants similarly situated in related PSU occupation and intifada cases, and offer them renunciation and community service for a guilty or no contest plea in lieu of sentencing. This will provide restorative justice, protect the public, and save public resources that would be wasted on punishment without actual corrections. Renunciation is an affirmative defense to inchoate crimes of conspiracy and attempt, and it is a more “correct” outcome than jail time or community service which the D.A. is seeking in the PTOs that have been tendered.
ACLU of Oregon, MultCo D.A. Schmidt, Office of General Counsel of PSU | Legal opinion in response to the letter of ACLU of Oregon
MultCo Circuit Court, 26th July, trial readiness hearing 24-CR-22957 | Re State vs. Jared Essig, criminal trespass II, regarding his demonstration in support of the University's decision 2nd May to evict the Palestinian occupiers from the PSU Library. (See entries below). Seeking trial date in August or September, before judgement day on the New Year, Rosh HaShana. An objection to the charging information and motion to demur has been filed. Letter sent to D.D.A, and argument presented to the CPC Judge at trial-readiness hearing: We have received discovery of police-body-cam evidence (which tends to exculpate the defendent), and request that the D.D.A. watch it closely, and carefully consider withdrawing the charges in the interest of justice and public safety. The D.D.A. discloses that two witness will be called by the State, but we only received discovery of narrative police report of the arresting officer. We demand the name of the second witness, and any recorded statements that the D.A. wishes to introduce at trial. This shouldn't be that hard, but I will have to file a motion to compel, if the D.D.A. remains non-compliant. Until it is forthcoming, we join with the other defendendants in requesting set-over of trial readiness until August 9th to give the DA time to come into compliance.
Multnomah County Board of Commissioners 11th July 25:06 | Demand that the Board “declare the causes” for their libraries and their own vacation last week on 4th July, because “a decent respect to the opinions of mankind [and their constituents] obliges” this. Else I claim the right and duty to [alter or] “abolish this board and provide new guards for our future security”. Copies given to the Seargeant-at-arms and distributed to the Board, which declines to read it. Déclaration de l’indépendance des États-Unis, recited in the language of our first ally, so to not offend the stubborn ignorance of this Commission, which is also the Library Taxation and Advisory Board. [Wishing France a happy Bastille day on 14th Juillet]
Historians, politicians, and activists | 6th July, 8th July | s:Declaration of the Causes and Necessity of Taking Up Arms, proclaimed on 6th July 1775 by 2nd Continental Congress. Final draft by John Dickinson, early drafts by Thomas Jefferson. s:Olive Branch Petition was a letter to King George III from members of the Second Continental Congress to appeal to their king to redress the colonial grievances in order to avoid any further bloodshed in the American Revolution. Written by John Dickinson and adopted 8 July 1775; it reached London on August 14, 1775; and George III's reply, the s:Declaration of Rebellion, was issued on the 23rd.
Multnomah County Board of Commissioners 27th June 7:54 | Board should use the holiday on 4th of July to convene, instead of vacating, and should collectively read and critically discuss US Declaration Independence, this 4th of July. Frederick Douglass called the declaration “the ringbolt of your nation's destiny” and urged Americans to be true to its “saving principles”, while asking them What to a Slave is the Fourth of July?. To that end, we should also carefully consider the denunciations of the slave trade found in Jefferson's original rough draft. MultCo Board should discontinue the firework show over the river, and instead convene scholars and community leaders to have a series of public readings, symposia, and critical discussions. Encourage the organizers of the Waterfront Blues festival to move it to Juneteenth weekend, and call it the “rhythm and blues festival”. Libraries should feature displays, which are currently nowhere to be found in Central or Capitol Highway Libraries, and should incude these documents. It could add them to the Juneteenth displays which are still up as of 3rd July 2024, in order provide some context. We denounce the fetishization of black culture when used in these ways to avoid historical awareness, public education, intellectual leadership, or moral responsibility.]
Portland City Council 26th June 3:11:43 | Encourage Social-Economic-Geographic mobility for houseless people, rather than plying them with drugs
MultCo Board 20th June 14:12 | ”From the river to the sea, the Holy Land is not for free / The Sons of Jacob will return to thee etc Free the hostages, free them now, let the kings of Gaza come and bow. Seattle City council 18th June 18:51 | Today is the 13th day of the 五月; wǔyuè; 'fifth month' of the lunisolar Chinese calendar. It is also 13th of Sivan, the third month in the lunisolar Hebrew calendar and Babylonian calendar. The staff union of the Chinatown http://WingLuke.org Museum would learn from the Jews and from the nation of Israel, if it truly cared about national liberation from western and Roman imperialism, instead of going on strike against Confronting Hate Together exhibit, shutting the museum down for three weeks, and ignorantly declaring that “there is no place for zionism” in their “solidarity movement”.
To Oregon schools and colleges | 18th June | We endorse this proposal for fairness in women's sports with transgender participation. We reject the insinuation that the authors 'should be labeled “transphobes” or “bigots” from a man who has no stake in this outcome, simply because we want fair competition. Transgender athletes should be welcome to compete, but we will not “grow up and shut up,” when it comes to our right to win a spot on the podium, and to fight for what women have been demanding for centuries: equal representation, equality and a fair playing field.'
Seattle City council 10th June 24:53 | Wishing Jewish community a happy Pentecost, land acknowledgement, commentary on mental health policy
MultCo Board | 30th May | 5:27 | The MultCo Board owes an an apology to the students, faculty, staff, and administration of PSU and to the broader learning community for having early encouraged these hostile takeovers of public facilities by the local alliance for Palestinian terrorism, who have commandeered and shut down your bridges at rush hour and flooded your public meetings with their slanders and blood-libels, with their demand for one side to cease-fire and their simultaneous rally cries to the other side for further acts of war. Instead of rebuking and instructing them, you negotiated and “thanked them for lifting up their voices”, encouraging further such acts. Now the students of PSU will have to suffer for your passivity, cowardice, and moral perversion, as their library is closed for the next few months for repairs. Please immediately pass a resolution condemning the Oct 7th Al-Aqsa flood massacres, which you've failed to do, and please apologize to the PSU learning community. Meanwhile, the Rose City Iron Front challenges all-comers from the Palestinian alliance of the DSA, PSL, JVP (affiliates of the PFLP/Samidoun), and the AMP/SJP et al to debate us on any of these propositions of their own choosing Israel Palestine debate, or on terms which the Students' Union or MultCo Board will propose. We can debate in the PSU plaza, Student Union building, the MultCo boardroom, or any other location of your choosing, and will be ready next week in the lobby of the Multnomah building. The MultCo Board and the PSU Student Union should not capitulate to Marxist-Leninist domestic terror groups, before first forcing them to engage in a public disputation under terms of parliamentary debate. | non-agenda comm.
ASUO | 14th May | Public reading in EMU of the Israeli Declaration of Independence as read by David Ben-Gurion in Hebrew and by me in English: “WE APPEAL to the United Nations to assist the Jewish people in the building-up of its State and to receive the State of Israel into the community of nations. WE APPEAL - in the very midst of the onslaught launched against us now for months - to the Arab inhabitants of the State of Israel to preserve peace and participate in the upbuilding of the State on the basis of full and equal citizenship and due representation in all its provisional and permanent institutions. WE EXTEND our hand to all neighbouring states and their peoples in an offer of peace and good neighbourliness, and appeal to them to establish bonds of cooperation and mutual help with the sovereign Jewish people settled in its own land. The State of Israel is prepared to do its share in a common effort for the advancement of the entire Middle East.” Campus Jews and allies should standing up all over the country and declaring this, instead of merely marching and waving Israeli and American flags in empty shows of nationalistic bravado like other nations do. REMEMBER THE HISTORY and refuse to back down before the mob, and pre-emptively refute the slanders and blood-libels born of prejudiced ignorance from anti-zionist agitators.
U of O global studies | 13th May | We endorse the UO Faculty's Shared Principles for Organizing Educational Events on Current Crisis in Israel and Palestine During the lecture symposium by Dr. Yael Aronoff and Dr. Saliba Sarsar, envisioning future Israeli-Palestinian peace The following question written into the webinar QA: This event was advertised on the religious studies department message board on 3rd floor of Campbell, but nowhere in ERB students union. The “multi-cultural center” in ERB has nothing on it, but does have lots of anti-zionist signage and agitprop, including some demanding “zionists off campus”, and some advertising for the so-called JVP. The “university of Gaza” occupation on the quad outside has nothing advertised about this webinar. (And also has no books in Arabic, and nothing about christianity or Islam, let alone Judaism) These student groups are all seeking a one-state Palestinian solution, and rallying for war to that end. Other than me, how many students subscribed for this webinar? Why is peace so unpopular, and why is war so attractive? Maybe next time we can have more promotion and education around events like this. End. Question 2: How easy/hard is it for an Arab or Palestinian in Israel to convert to Judaism? To convert away from Christianity or Islam? Is there any teaching of the Noahide covenant? And what are Jewish attitudes about this? As a Noahide myself, I Jared Essig ben Noah can testify that 80-90% of American Jewish communities I've sojourned among have abdicated this mission - at a great loss for themselves and for the world.
PSU and U of O | 5 Iyar, 14 May | Jewish students, allies, and friends of Israel: During your observance of the Israeli Independence day tomorrow, 5 Iyar, please do a public bilingual reading of the declaration: Israeli Declaration of Independence, מגילת העצמאות של מדינת ישראל Please distribute copies to your affiliates, and then go out to the plaza in front of U of O and PSU libraries and do public readings, and distribute to students. Analyze Israel as the post-colonial, anti-imperialist liberation movement that it is. Chalk the sidewalks. For if you are silent at this time, then will relief and deliverance arise to the Jews from another place, but you and your clubs and fraternities will perish; and who knows whether you became University students for such a time as this? Please tell your affiliates in universities all around America. Israel is a national liberation movement of the Jewish people from the Roman empire, Byzantine empire, Islamic Arab empires, Crusader states, Ottoman and British empires. Collective liberation cannot happen without Jewish liberation. Palestine is at the center of a quasi religious Marxist movement for universal liberation, because Marx borrows christian anti-Jewish teleology and merely translates it into the dialectics of historical materialism. This will not succeed, and many people may die in its futile attempt. But what is Judaism's program for collective liberation? And how Israel activism appeal to all? Begin fulfilling Isaiah 2 by teaching the Noahide covenant to the nations and the gentile spiritual seekers who come to you to learn, or who consider conversion. The rainbow is a sign of the covenant, which applies to all humanity.
PSU Library Plaza | 9th May 2024 ~7pm | #LetKnowledgeServeTheCity. “When the Library is Occupied, President Ann Cudd is justified”, “Free, free, free PSU, the library is not for you”, in response to a march of Palestinian activists chanting [sic] “All glory to our martyrs”. Palestine is a colony of the Roman Empire - be honest about what you're “bearing witness” to, martyr. Israel is a national liberation movement of the Jewish people.
MultCo Board of Commissioners | 7 May / 27 Nisan | Endorse President Joe Biden's Holocaust Remembrance Day remarks
MultCo Circuit Court 24-CR-22957 | 3 May | Arraignment hearing | 1. Representing pro se, my legal argument on waiver of right to representation, with retainment of right to assistance of counsel, per ORS 140.035(d), is accepted by Judge L, who appoints legal advisor. 2. Objection to the charging information, notify of intent to plead a demurrer at the next scheduled hearing 6/7/24 3. Judge rescinds PRS requirements and no trespass conditions requested by the DA, accepting my argument that I should not be held guilty by association, and that I have a right to make political speech in the Plaza, in support of the faculty and administration to liberate the library from the Marxist-Leninist domestic terrorists who had occupied it. | KATU report
PSU Students, Faculty, and Administration | 3 May | Invited to lecture and study the history of Palestine, which began as a Jewish vassal state under Julius Caesar and then a colony of Rome, after the conquest and occupation by Roman legions under Titus Vespasian in 70 CE and later Hadrian in 130 CE, who first declared the colony and Roman province of “Syria Palestina”, reducing its indigenous Jewish inhabitants to the status of sub-altern natives. We propose to offer a lecture series overview of Semitic languages, literature, philosophy, and religion, and invite lightning-talks from diverse points of view, QA sessions, seeking dialectical resolution of disputed questions. his will take place on the plaza between the student union and the library, on an ad hoc basis. We will humbly request an invitation to the history, philosophy, and religion departmental libraries, where we hope to lecture from primary sources, and to consider opinions secondary and tertiary scholarship. We commit to an open and non-dogmatic approach, in the spirit of skeptical inquiry.
Portland City Council | 2 May | 2 May 2024 1:14:14 | “Your Life Matters”, “Let Knowledge Serve the City”. The library is for scholarly research, learning and teaching. Therefore, I invite City Councilors to walk with me to PSU, and invite faculty, administrators, and student-scholars to join me in non-violently liberating the library from the domestic Marxist-Leninist terrorists who've occupied and barricaded it. We will accomplish this sitting down in the library to study books, and we will do a teach-in on the history of Palestine, which began as a Jewish vassal state and then colony of Rome. An overview of Semitic languages, literature, philosophy, and religion. [Organize lightning-talks from diverse points of view, QA sessions, seeking dialectical resolution of disputed questions. Police action is not sufficient to defeat a terrorist ideology or an epistemic error - that can only be done through moral philosophy and sophistic refutations. Where are the doctors of philosophy?] Furthermore, asking police commissioner Wheeler et al to refute the agitators for police-abolition by publicly declaring that “Not All Cops are Bastards” but that Bastards Lives Matter. | 344 approve-selection-independent-monitor of police
PSU Students vs. Occupy4Gaza | 2 May | sophistic refutations and ecstatic poetry, as counterpoint to dyslogic and protest chants, at 8-9am, at 12-2pm, and again at ~5-8pm, until (mistakenly) arrested for tresspass II
MultCo Board | 2 May | 3 public comments: 1. On public lighting, declaring “lights out month Multnomah” during peak bird migratory season. 2. Change in animal control policy to permit roosters in municipalities, encourage ownership of sheep and goats, outlaw neutering and spaying of all species, discourage proliferation by raising license fees for owning dogs, cats, horses. 3. More transparency and accountability needed in relationship between correctional facilities and behavioral health system. My own experience in LA County and MultCo is emblematic. Systemic denial of moral responsibility?
MultCo Board & SCOTUS | 2 May, forthcoming | written testimony submitted 30 April: We urge Multnomah County to exercise leadership in providing campsites that are low-cost, low-maintenance, and low barrier to entry, and respectful of neighborhoods and neighborhood rights, according to the principles outlined in our radically alternative camping ordinance. The County can succeed at this by re-assigning some of its county and district attorneys, judges, and public defenders to serve as magistrates and advise neighborhood councils which would provide the forum for self-government, according to the “good neighbor agreement” stipulated here, which may be ratified and amended as necessary by each neighborhood council district according to its own deliberative process. These will have to train participants to mediate conflicts, judge the accused, assign reasonable penalties of community service, excommunicate defiant offenders, and hear appeals as necessary. Presented to Portland city council 4/22/2024 PM 4:19:12 As amicus curaie to SCOTUS, we deprecate Boise, Grant's Pass, and Portland's anti-camping ordinances as cruelly and unusually coercive, unnecessary, and objectively unreasonable, and call on the court to expand the 2019 Martin and earlier Robinson decisions.
MultCo Board convened as Library District | 25 April | 1:50:42 | Cut fiction budget in half, and double the budget for fact and analysis. Where and when does the Library Advisory Committee meet? Lack of transparency and accountability. Every reference section should include: 1. World Book encyclopedia. 2. collected works of Aristotle. 3. Bilingual primary source texts. 3.1 New testament in Greek in English 3.2 Original testament in Hebrew and English. 4. Guide to the Perplexed, Maimonides, which introduced Aristotle to the west, launching the scholastic movement and scientific revolution. [5. Newton's “Principia mathematica” of natural philosophy] 6. Text books and assigned reading in Portland Public schools. [7. At local board's discretion, the Confucian classics, the Dao De Jing, Patanjali's Yoga sutras, the Qu'ran, the book of Mormon, etc. Also, pivotal texts in scientific revolution, renaissance, reformation, and beyond.] | R.2. MultCo Library and Board | 17 Nisan / 25 April | 5:59 | libraries should feature book displays that recognize passover and the asian heritage month of nisan (written testimony submitted 4/22/2024, 14th Nisan 5783) | non-agenda comm.

Portland City Council | 4/18/2024 | 4/22/2024 PM 4:19:12 | We oppose the city's proposed anti-camping ordinance, to be heard at 4:00 time certain, but would support a radically alternative Camping ordinance, with Time, Place, and Manner permissions, and offer “good neighbor agreement” if property owners and public bodies will stipulate. | 320
ClackCo Board and Portland City Council | 4/18/2024 | written and forthcoming | Requesting 10 minutes on next week's regular agenda for a proclamation recognizing Nisan/Vaisakha as the first month of Spring/Aviv and as such an Asian heritage chief month of the year, encouraging public libraries, schools, DEI and mental health advisory boards, and other civic bodies and citizens to join us, as explained this morning by Jared Essig at MultCo Board 4/18/2024 15:52 This deliberative assembly recognizes that free-exercise of religion and non-establishment thereof, rights guaranteed in this jurisdiction, void the ecumenical councils - and also the County commission or the City council - from any legally binding authority on this matter. But this body should admit the presence of inequity, in that the established church's decisions to change the times and laws, and to excommunicate conscientious objectors, remain entrenched in custom and common practice according to the civil calendar and Federal and State holidays, resulting in discrimination of Asian communities and religious minorities such as Jews, Quartodeciman and proto-paschite christians, Gypsys, and ancient Chaldeans, and is urged to pro-actively give equitable recognition by including these diverse perspectives, which would increase the intellectual and moral health of our community, and promote righteousness in judgement. MultCo Board | 4/18/2024 | 15:52 | We Recognize the first month of Spring, Nisan, as an Asian heritage month, and the chief month of the year in the Hebrew calendar, mentioned in Exodus 12, and the Babylonian calendar, and in many Indian calendars where it is called Vaisakha. The moon of Nisan endures between 9th April to 8th May, 2024, and will reoccur next year 30th March to 25th April 2025, according to the Metonic Cycle. This year's later occurence is due to a 13th intercalary month added prior, to make the previous a leap year, a postponement called Nasi' in the Quran in reference to the pre-Islamic Arab calendar, presumably after the Jewish Exilarch, or “Nasi” (lit. Prince, president) who would announce the upcoming year's holiday cycle. We Recognize the night of full moon, the Quartodeciman 14th of Nisan, April 22-23rd, Passover night, to begin the Jewish feast of unleavened bread. Recognizing it also as an ecumenical Asian and Quartodeciman Christian heritage week, and Lunar spring break. Acknowledging the two great lights, the Sun which rules by day and Moon by night, are natural “signs, appointed times, days, and years”, as known through common sense to animals and plants, through natural philosophy to humankind, as also described in Genesis 1:14-19, and as relevant to other indigenous cultures around the globe, who also do not require the astronomical tables and mathematical calculations of the imperial Roman Gregorian calendar, derived by the court of Julius Caesar from the Egyptian solar calendar, in order to understand time and predict the seasons. Recognizing this as an equity issue, in that the Roman Gregorian calendar has been imposed on Asia and indigenous America, through imperialism and colonization. And it was imposed on the Near East through decision by the 313 CE Synod of Arles and 323 CE Council of Nicaea to excommunicate Quartodeciman christians who observed the feast of Matzah and thus would break the Lenten fast before Easter. Eating the unleavened bread was either in solidarity with Jews, as Paul taught them to be “wild olive shoots grafted in to the olive tree of Israel” (Romans 9-12) or else as a memorial of the last supper in which Joshua son of Mary said to his disciples “do this in remembrance of me”, or both. But the church instead chose the unbiblical supercessionism and replacement theology, based on hermeneutic perversions that deny the texts' plain meaning and are contrary to the apostolic teaching, and established an alternate gnostic ritual, the sunday “Eucharist”, and made it compulsory. This anti-Judaism and anti-Zionism of the imperial church, which (mis)appropriates Jewish texts, promises, and prophecies in order to abrogate the covenant and law, and flatter itself the “spiritual Israel” and the christian quarter as the “new Jerusalem”, became dogma and command: Jews were and still are expected to convert, assimilate and eat the Easter ham. The alternatives offered are that they serve as a “witness people” to the “wrath and severity of God upon unbelievers” by remaining miserable and powerless in Palestine and throughout the christian world, or else disappear from the stage of history. Failure to comply with this absurd expectation, resulted in frequent expulsions and violence against Jews and other heretics living in christian lands, for which the victims were blamed. Supercessionism was the antecedent of Islamic anti-Judaism, and of later antisemitism as justified on spurious scientific, political, or racial grounds after the supercessionism was translated into the dialectics of “critical reason” during the Enlightenment. We renounce our past complicity, and resolve to not participate any longer in this systemically violent fraudence. Nisan is known as Vaisakha in India, and is the first month of the Vikram Samvat calendar, Odia calendar, Maithili Calendar, Punjabi calendar, Assamese calendar (where it is called Bohag) and the Bengali calendar. These are luni-solar calendars. It is the third month of the Chinese calendar, although it is often the second month, because of differences in the schedule for intercalation on leap years, in which years the Chinese mid-autumn festival in that 8th month corresponds to the Jewish feast of tabernacles and universal feast of harvest ingathering, in the seventh month. For further reading on the equity issue and history of antiJudaism as a constitutive idea and explanatory force in Christianity, Islam, and Enlightenment thinking, see the book by Nirenberg, David ”Anti-Judaism: The Western Tradition“ WW Norton (2013) | non-agenda comm

Portland City Council | 4/17/2024 | ammendments submitted | We strongly support efforts to Reduce light pollution, and thank Bird Alliance of Oregon, Bureau of Sustainability, and the Mayor and Commissioner Rubio's office for bring it. Proposed amendments in bold: and do hereby proclaim April 15-May 19, 2024 to be Lights Out Portland Month In Portland, and encourage Portlanders and Portland property managers, planned community developers, and enhanced service districts to pledge to extinguish unnecessary exterior lighting every night during peak migration, to turn off their interior and exterior lights from 11:00 pm until one hour before dawn daily, and to get outside to view the night sky and the sunrise. We the city adminstrators pledge to our own commitment to “Lights Out Portland Month”, and will direct the building manager of City Hall to extinguish the outdoor lighting of our own building during these hours, and will direct the Parks and Recreation department to comply with this schedule, in all public spaces that it manages. | Light's Out Proclamation
MultCo Board | 4/11/2024 | 1. 1:20:23 | 1. Regarding County assets and cash transfers in general, provide cash transfer to houseless neighbors, in order to employ them in county projects. Example: CascadiaClusters.org apprentices unsheltered individuals in construction, and hires them to build their own tiny houses. [This makes program “investors” and “transient workers”, giving them dignity and upward mobility; current strategy makes them mere “participants” and “guests” and recipients of “government services”, with all the money funnelled to professional “service providers”, which is backward.] | R.8. MultCo Board | 4/11/2024 | 1:10:05 | Thank you for this project, as a semi-nomadic vehicularly housed person I had been waiting for this for years. Yet it still evinces a lack of a “proactive holistic strategy”, as Commissioner Meieran has complained. A “good neighbor agreement” consists in these basics: 1. no murder (or person injury) 2. no adultery (or other sex crimes) 3. No stealing (enslaving or coercing humans, or stealing property or labor) Incentivize agreement with the GNA by providing “participants” with basic income, instead of merely funneling money to “service providers”. And give access to low-barrier day-labor, for those who wish to do creative work, earn more, and rejoin society. | R.4. Montavilla Community Village alternative shelter site

Solicit recommendation from City Attorney on drafting a ballot measure in November, for which I pledge to campaign. Request moral and intellectual leadership from city council in lobbying MultCo Board on a variety of issues, or else deputization as foreign minister to the Tri-county commissions and metro council. This public comment was made on discussion of a resolution to urge MultCo to reform its ambulance response model) (an influence campaign of commissioner Meiran and councilor Gonzalez, and city of Gresham.) Now making same request of Metro council. Meanwhile Portland city attorney Robert Taylor and WashCo spokesperson Phillip Branford have made public statements to the Oregonian, which has Oregonian, which has evaluated the proposal on 23rd March 2024: Multnomah County chair has unparalleled power to block proposals she doesn’t like. It was also mentioned to MultCo Board 2/29/2024 testimony of Jared Essig on R.2 Study on Ambulance response model reform. A study is Not Adequate to address emergency, board should schedule discussion of commissioner Meieran's proposal. Expressing gratitude for the board's starting to come into compliance with public meetings law, for their dispersal two weeks ago in light of its own unlawful assembly, in lieu of having me arrested for disruption. “That a county chair can corrupt a board-approved rule meant to ensure transparency and accountability, to achieve the exact opposite, typifies the rot at the top of Multnomah County's undemocratic decision making”, says former Portland mayor Sam Adams, who is now running for a county seat. I had also asked the ClackCo Board to assist me in “liberating Multnomah County from the 'ghost of Vladimir Lenin'”, and they were also consulted by investigative journalist Shane Kavanaugh, who we thank for the analysis.
Multnomah County Board of Commissioners | 3/21/2024 | 2:33:40, 2:44:15 | Does might make right, or else why should we value rule of law over rule of big men with guns or mobs with raised fists? Need better public education and crime prevention. Introducing RCIF, which supports police reform and accountability, oppose the riots and incitement that, along with police abolitionist agenda, is the probable cause of the crime wave and murder epidemic. Commissioners should not tolerate threats of sexual violence and butt-rape against the U.S. President during board meetings - such as occurred during public comment on the Gaza cease-fire resolution. Solicit legal opinions whether authorized to restrict such vicious and violent speech - U.S. and Oregon Constitutions do not protect speech that incites crime, is obscene, or which threatens violence. MultCo Board of Commissioners | 3/14/24 | 2:04:50 | Criticize plan for lacking land acknowledgement, lacking plan to overcome anti-indigenous, anti-Asian, and anti-Jewish bias, which is historic in Oregon territory and latent and systemic in the County. Neither Oregon nor Massachusetts is the “promised land”, and neither Roman catholics nor WASPs are the “chosen people”, but to maintain this fraud is why the “Palestine” issue is so precious to post-christian “progressives” who are really reactionaries [its easier for them to scapegoat the Jews for their authentic land claim, than acknowledge that their white privelege is based on a fraudulent one. They'd rather destroy Israel than have real land reform and give land back to indigenous communities.] Calendar reform as anti-imperialist liberation for Asian, Jewish, and indigenous Americans. - AFTER: See the video at the end of R.1, when JVP started a mic check, a chant, and I began singing again, and assumed the testimony table and declared an unlawful assembly, forcing the board to go into recess, and provoking the sergeants-at-arms to betray their biased, unequal, and ultimately unsuccessful enforcement of public meetings law.
- In violation of Oregon Public Meetings Law, reported in Oregonian W 6th March, but still not available at multco.us even on the evening prior. It was R.1. - Unseat D.A. Mike Schmidt - he has abdicated moral and intellectual leadership, and then made excuses and refused to take accountability for the failures. As artwork on the courthouse, he puts vacuous affirmations with command to practice toxic positivity (“spread love”, “defund hate”), and is unable to enunciate the command “Thou shalt not murder”, which is his prime duty to teach and enforce. We do not necessarily endorse Vasquez or any other candidates Multnomah County DA candidates spar over leadership, direction in first debate - Oregonian 19th March, but expect anyone who holds the office to teach and uphold the law. The first priority must be to mitigate the murder epidemic, and work to reform the cultural sickness of atheistic gnosticism and self-realization through violence and unrestrained will-to-power, expressed destructively in 2020 as promoted by Marxist-Leninism, Black Power, and White Power ideologies, but also latent within post-christian progressive liberal modernity itself.

- Hamas in their own words. Hamas is a terrorist organization driven by genocidal religious supersession and racism against Jews. Their publicly declared goal is not only to destroy Israel, but also to murder Jews in hiding, wherever they can be found, even without a State of their own, as outlined in the 1988 Hamas covenant. Don’t believe us? Take their word for it.
- The PSL and DSA and the “JVP”, the Portland local affiliates of PFLP/Samidoun, are deceiving themselves and practicing deliberate ignorance, in bad faith. We call on Portland City Council and MultCo Board of Commissioners to publicly condemn their actions to shut down the Hawthorne and Burnside bridges, which they have been doing with impunity, and to condemn the march on Oct. 13th which shut down streets all over downtown in solidarity with a declared “global day of jihad” for the purpose of “free palestine”, and “from the river to the sea, Palestine will be Arab”, which is how the chant actually goes in its original Arabic.

- Leninopad - Down with Lenin! Remove or deface the Seattle statue, in solidarity with those in Ukraine and Russia who share our republican-democratic values.
- SUCCESS! Remove the "promised land" pioneer statue from the Portland plaza blocks. The RACC voluntarily de-accessioned this monument unlike other statues which were toppled by mobs, and at least one of their employees signed our petition.
- Stop valorizing gun violence, by removing the Soldier statue from the Portland plaza, with its brandished gun and call to arms. There are better ways to memorialize our history in Spanish-American, and other ways to represent the “Guam Infantryman”.
